A free webinar hosted by BSA Associate, KPMG

At the end of last year, a long list of employment law reforms was tabled in the Employment Rights Bill 2024.  From individual employment rights to collective rights and workforce change, pay, DE&I, trade unions and enforcement there is a lot for employers to think about in terms of workforce strategy, compliance and operations.

Alongside these proposed employment law reforms, we are awaiting the PRA and FCA’s final rules on D&I in the financial sector. The proposals relate to targets, reporting and disclosure in key areas including D&I strategics as well as non-financial misconduct when assessing conduct, fitness and propriety.

Both the Employment Rights Bill and the D&I proposals require thoughtful consideration from several multi-disciplinary angles, including, legal (employment and data protection in particular), HR/ER, governance, risk and compliance, regulatory practices, reward, and data perspectives. They go to the heart of the ESG agenda and feed directly into Consumer Duty.  It is important that firms start engaging now on these proposals and to educate stakeholders and relevant functions.

Speakers:

  • David Cummings, Partner and Solicitor, KPMG Law
  • Dorothée Giret, Director and Solicitor, KPMG Law

Aimed at:
This session is aimed at HR, Legal, Risk and Compliance teams. We will draw out the key challenges, opportunities and how firms can plan, prepare and embed risk management into these key people topics.
