August 2020 Calender

Court of Honor – August 10th, 7pm: Help us celebrate the accomplishments of our Scouts! Please wear full Class A uniforms and merit badge sashes. Bring a snack for yourself.

Meteor Shower – August 12th, 9-11pm: The troop has been invited by Pack 137 to watch the upcomming meteor shower. Social distancing and masks are required.

Scuba Certification: Troop 81 have set up classes to become scuba certified before going to Seabase and have invited us to join them. Three more people are needed to have the class. Dates for the classroom portion are August 18, 20, 22, 23. The dates for the diving portion are August 29, 30. Costs are as follows: $375 for classroom and pool, $225 for gear, $250 for open water certification. Total cost is: $850.

CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed Class: Take a class to learn CPR, AED, and emergency first aid. This is an essential skill for all Scouts. The cost is $35, and at least 5 people are needed for the class. If you’re interested, please contact Mr. Brown; contact info can be found in the troop newsletter.

Online Merit Badges: Although Summer Camp was cancelled, Scouts still have opportunities to earn merit badges online. See the troop newsletter for online resources.
